ALLENTOWN, PA — Vastex International has introduced two Little Red™ dryer models with 54 inch (137 cm) wide conveyor belts, expanding its line of mid-capacity infrared conveyor dryers for screen printed textiles.

The Little Red X1-54 model, equipped with a 66 in. (168 cm) long conveyor and a 48 x 12 in. (122 x 30.5 cm) 240V/5200 watt infrared heater can cure up to 260 plastisol-printed images or dry 90 discharge or water-based printed images per hour.

The Little Red X2-54 model with 84 in. (213 cm) long conveyor and two 48 x 12 in. (122 x 30.5 cm) 240V/5200 watt infrared heaters can cure up to 520 plastisol-printed images or dry 180 discharge or water-based printed images per hour.

Both models can cure/dry images up to 44 inches (112 cm) wide, and are equipped as standard with both temperature and belt speed digital controls, a low-friction belt tracking system and an Infrared Focusing System that allows infinite

belt-to-heater height adjustment between 2 and 7 in. (5 and 18 cm), plus angle control for optimum results with bulky garments and caps.

Both dryers are also expandable as needs grow by adding heating chambers, extending the belt length and increasing the infinitely-variable speed setting of the digital belt control.

The heaters carry an industry-leading 15-year warranty, and feature closely spaced coils that provide high-density, medium-wavelength infrared heat for maximum cure speed without cold spots or under-curing associated with conventional units.

A precision temperature control, belt control with digital display, and diagnostic display are housed in a Control Box that sits atop the chamber to reduce overall width, and is protected from heat by ceramic insulation.

Standard on the X2-54 model and optional on the X1-54 model are a heavy-duty conveyor belt

motor and a powered exhaust system that cools the outer cabinet while evacuating moisture and fumes.

Optional on both models are additional heating chambers, conveyor belt extensions and locking casters.

Also offered are two expandable Little Red models with 30 in. (76 cm) wide conveyor belts: a Little Red X1-30 model with a single heater for curing up to 130 plastisol-printed images or 45 discharge or water-based printed images per hour, and a Little Red X2-30 model with dual heaters for curing up to 260 plastisol-printed images and up to 90 discharge or water-based printed images per hour.
