TRAINING CLASSES

STEP 1 - BASICS OF ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

This entry-level class is centered around students who have very little to no experience working in Adobe Illustrator.

Note: Students who have some experience with the tools, windows and basic functions of Adobe Illustrator may find this portion of the class to be redundant, and should consider taking Step 2 - Vector Art for Beginners.

Beginners Illustrator Class will cover:

creating new files in Illustrator with proper document set up and filing
discovering window options within the program, which ones you will need the most and how to set up your workspace
examining the tools most used for t-shirt designs and how to use them properly
becoming familiar with the pen tool
working with fonts for design purposes
introducing short cuts and keyboard commands

Students will be given step-by-step processes to follow along with instructor as we cover all the functions above.

Students will need their laptop with the latest version of Adobe Illustrator software installed, tested and functioning.

Classes will start at 9:00 am and typically run until 4:30/5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided during the lunch break.
