10-Screen Drying Cabinet Has Dual Heaters, Digital Controls

ALLENTOWN, PA — A new Dri-Vault™ Screen Drying Cabinet from Vastex International features dual heating elements for faster warm-up and higher temperature limits, digital controls for improved temperature uniformity and a three-year warranty.

The high output unit can reach 130°F (54°C), versus about 90°F (32°C) for conventional units, enabling the user to come up to sub-100°F (38°C) screen-drying temperatures faster, and/or to dry screen printed or painted items in the cabinet quickly at temperatures exceeding 100°F (38°C).

Contributing to uniform heating throughout the cabinet are finned stainless steel heaters, and an efficient fan intake (with replaceable filter). The temperature is varied automatically by a new digital temperature controller and the operator can choose two modes, airflow and heat, or air flow only.

Dust is prevented from entering the chamber by a filtered air intake, and by positive pressure generated by the blower, precluding dust from entering through seals.

The cabinet accommodates up to 10 screens measuring 25 x 36 in. (635 x 914 mm). Shelves are angled to prevent screen mesh fabric from touching the shelf surface.

The unit is offered as a 240-volt model with a 15-amp Nema 6-15P plug, and is also available to major international standards. Optional are stainless steel shelves and heavy-duty locking casters. The company also manufactures 120-volt standard-output models.
