Commercial Series Presses Now with Six Stations, Six Colors

ALLENTOWN, PA — Vastex has expanded its economy line of V-1000 commercial-grade screen printing presses with a new six-station, six-color model V-1000-66, it was announced by Mark Vasilantone, president.

The press features all-heads-down printing, rubber coated steel pallets, and a unique floating head design with tool-free micro registration and six-way head leveling, delivering multi-color registration accuracy previously limited to machines of significantly higher cost.

The robust V-1000 frame with leg pan cross-member provides the structural integrity needed for precise results, and permits the addition of modular stations,

print heads and attachments, allowing start-ups and smaller shops to increase their investment as business grows.

A fully expanded Model V-1000-66 press (shown) with six stations and six heads, can boost output, print multiple jobs simultaneously, or accept a range of attachments also offered by the company.

A redesigned rotor hub has significantly increased rigidity of the pallets and arms, improving registration accuracy while allowing the addition of optional heavy duty print heads and over 100 Vastex pallets including oversized pallets to 20 x 24 in. (50 x 60 cm) for larger garments, and heavyweight vacuum pallets

used for transfers, signs and flat stock.

It can also be converted into an athletic numbering press in 20 seconds using the company's DiGiT™ clamp-on numbering system that uses two screens with five numbers each for one-color numbers, or four screens for two-color numbers, leaving two stations free for printing of chest pockets, other graphics, or for loading/unloading of garments.

As standard, the V-1000-66 holds screens of up to 21 x 28 in. (50 x 60 cm), fits through 33 in. (84 cm) doorways, is UPS shippable and carries a three-year warranty.
