ALLENTOWN, PA — A new High-Strength Rotor Arm Assembly boosts the capacity and improves the operation of Vastex V-1000 Entry Level Screen Printing Presses, according to Mark Vasilantone, president.

Welded cross-braces within the rotor arm yield greater torsional rigidity, preventing deflection of the pallet when side-loaded, while accommodating large pallets to 20 x 24 in. (508 x 610 mm), and heavyweight vacuum pallets used for transfers, signs and flat stock. The rotor arm is also reengineered to accept a total of five wheel lock bearings, up from three, resulting in smoother, more positive engagement of the print head, reduced component wear and tighter tolerances.

"The five-bearing wheel lock housing combines with the extra-stiff rotor arm to hold significantly finer registration over increased cycles," says Vasilantone.

Standard on all new V-1000 presses, the rotor arm assembly is also available as a bolt-on retrofit for previous V-1000 models. Standard features of the press include micro registration, six-way head leveling, adjustable lift springs, rubber coated steel pallets and all-heads-down printing.

Floor-standing models are offered with one to four stations, and one to six colors. Models for table tops and utility carts are offered with one to two stations, and one to six colors. All are UPS shippable and carry a one-year warranty.
